A Royal Wedding

These papers are so beautiful, they are also available from Cuddly Buddly and are the Country House Papers in Cornflower blue by Czes Pachela, great for Wedding or Anniversary cards.
This is the first time I have made a magic card and have to say I'm really pleased with it. I followed the instructions HERE at StampARTic, thank you for nice simple instruction.

Linda's Challenge

My friend Linda challenges me once a week to an SU! challenge, she picks the theme or layout and I obey lol Linda's card HERE, she got her inspiration from Vicki's card HERE, Vicki has some wonderful cards on her blog, so if you get chance pop over and take a look.
I got this set Free during Celebration, sadly its no longer available which is a great shame its a lovely set.

Rose Garden

This is something totally out of my comfort zone lol... I don't do vintage and the thought of distressing brings me out in a cold sweat.. I have printed the digi stamp 'Rose Garden'  onto craft card and coloured her in with Prisma pencils giving a much softer tone. The papers are just beautiful by Pachela Studio called 'Country House Papers' available at Cuddly Buddly, I have used the Cranberry set.
The flowers where made with a Marianne Creatables Floral 2 die.

I hope you are all looking forward to the Easter break? I have actually got three days off so am really looking forward to a little bit of family time, my Son is visiting with his girlfriend and her little boy hopefully the weather will be good and we can have a BBQ.

I am entering my card in to the challenge over on the Sir Stampalot Challenge  which is 'Ladies and Fashion', well she looks a real lady, not sure her dress is fashionable lol.. but suppose it was in her day :)

Lazy Days

This is Teddy Bo 'Lazy Days' isn't he a sweetie? I love his big fat round belly, he looks totally relaxed there doesn't he? I have coloured him in with Prisma pencils, preferring these for animals as I'm rubbish at blending with Copics but find it easier with Prisma pencils and sansador.

I am entering this card in to the Teddy Bo Challenge which is 'Tag It' and the Papertake Weekly which is 'Spots and stripes',although there are more spots than stripes on my card lol....

I hope you have all been enjoying the nice weather we have been having over the last few day, long may it continue i say. It certainly makes you feel so much better doesn't it? I have been up by 7am most days this week, chores done by 9am leaving me plenty to play.

Less Is More ~ A Touch Of Red

The challenge at Less Is More is 'A Touch Of Red' for this week.
I have to say I always find red very striking on a card, although think I have got carried away with the red in this card lol....
This stamp is a Penny Black stamp called 'Letters And Flowers' I do love this as its suitable for so many occasions.
I coloured the flowers in firstly with SU! markers then stamped all over with my versamark black ink.

The greeting was done on the PC using Copperplate Gothic and Edwardian script, wasn't brave enough to print direct to the card, will have to practise more lol....

I am off to Newcastle tomorrow to visit my Son so will catch up with you all on my return xx
