This is my clean and simple card that i have made for OH's Birthday on the 2nd August...

I have used an image from the Forever Friends CD, i was going to use the footballer one then realised he had a red scarf on which is no good as OH is a Chelsea fan lol...

There is not a lot to tell you about this card as it is very clean and simple, greeting done on the computer, little bit of line scoring with the MS board and that's it all done..simple.

I am so late getting this on here today, i bet my teamies think i have gone on holiday lol...

We where out with friends last night, had a lovely meal was so nice to eat real food! I have am trying to lose weight for my hols at the end of Sept so I'm on a healthy eating plan (don't like the work diet), i have lost 11lb so far, only another 17lb to go :) I am so determined to do it this time.

Well i hope you all have a lovely weekend, just hope the weather picks up a little as its very grey outside at the minute x

Cuddly Buddly Challenge

On the Cuddly Buddly forum Linda hosts a challenge once a month with a great prize of £5 to spend in the CB shop, well thats easily done isn't it? I have used a 'Lilyboo' image which is a freeby on Cuddly Buddly, but have to say there are lots available at a great price of 99p which is a real bargain for digi stamps. I coloured my image in with Copics and prisma pencils, the papers are also from CB and are all downloads. Why not pop over and have a go yourself, what have you got to lose? I have one more week in work then i am off for a whole week, yippeeee......

Just Cute Bears~ Christmas in July

This week at Just Cute Bears we are in the Christmas mood, so this weeks challenge is Christmas! I know its only July but you have got to be organised especially the way the weeks are flying by, don't know where this week has gone.

The card this week has been made with a free download from Cuddly Buddly which Kim has kindly put in her freebies section for you to colour, so no excused for not joining in this week. There are some fab new Christmas stamps from Cuddly Buddly coming out in August, so keep a look out. The image was printed onto graphic/ text paper on my Epson printer and left to dry over night, i used a mixture of Copics and prisma pencil to colour the bears in, lots of glitter added for good measure. The papers are CB they are from the Immanuel christmas collection.

I am also entering this card into the Fun n Funky challenge which is also Christmas..... in July, also Cute Card Thursday which is called 'Getting a head start'.

I hope you all have a good weekend even though the weather is supposed to be a bit naff, i'm full of cold so plan on staying in anyway.

Quick and Easy

I made this card a whole ago for my youngest Sons Birthday and forgot to post it so thought i would share it with you today, its nothing fancy just plan and simple. I used an image from the FF cd , papers are from Pink Petticoat and the greeting was done on my PC with tempus font. I hope you are all having a nice weekend , its been sunshine and showers here today not nice really. I hope you will pop back tomorrow for the Just Cute Bears challenge xx

LOTV Challenge ~57

I have managed to find time to join in with the LOTV challenge this time, i always intend to join in but just seem to leave it to late. This week is a fabby sketch by Dawny P her sketches are always so inspirational, thanks Dawny :) I have used a die cut for my card so no colouring involved, nice for quick easy cards i have ordered lots more of these whilst they have been on offer. The papers are SU, flowers are from wild orchid.

I hope you all had a nice weekend, it certainly has gone by far to quickly for my liking, oh well only another 3 weeks and i will be off for a whole week, yippeeee.....

Just Cute Bears ~ Sketch

This week on Just Cute Bears we have a sketch for you to follow which has been provided by the talented Helen, we know you all love a sketch so what you waiting for get crafting. I have used a FF bear this week which has been coloured with prisma pencils, the copic have had a weekend off for a change lol.. The papers are a mixture of Cuddly Buddly Miss Daisy papers and the dotty paper is from the wild rose pack of spots and dots. The Tim Holtz flourish die has been used for the swirls, a few punches to make the little flowers and there you have it.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and that the weather isn't too hot for you all in the South? Its been quite a humid night here although the sun keeps going in and out its still very warm, i do feel for people who are ill with breathing problems can't be very nice for them when the weather is so hot and stuffy. Happy Anniversary

Today is my 10th Wedding Anniversary i'm just wondering will Neil remember lol... well he sure will when i give him this card! This week the Just Cute Bears challenge was decoupage so out came the Forever Friends cd, which is where i found this little cutie, the papers are also off the disc. The greeting has been done on the cd using Tempus font another one of my favourites. Don't forget to take a look at the great cards the team have come up with this week,we have the talented Becky as a guest designer this month.

I am pleased to say that my back is a lot better this weekend, have been in agony for about 10 days with it, have no idea what i had done to it but was very painful. I might get chance to do some cards this week now i am feeling better :) There are a few challenges i would like to join in with.
