Take 2 On Less Is More

This is the first card I made for the Less Is More Challenge ~ Masculine.
I wasn't sure this fitted the criteria of Less Is More as have used a few layers on the card, so hence the card I posted yesterday.

I do like the colours in this one which I stamped with an old olive ink pad adding more colours with my SU! markers before stamping on to my card stock. I have then blended a little bit of the colour with my water brush, love the subtle effect it gives.

Now the question is which one do you prefer?

Tools ~ SU! Border punch, SU! Pricking tool

Less Is More ~ Masculine

Good afternoon.
Here is my card for Challenge 7 over at Less Is More which is Masculine.
I have to say I do quite like this card, now its not often I say that lol...

The image is from a set of stamps called 'Lakeside Cabin' from Stampscapes, there are many stamps in this set to create your own scene.

I have stamped on to crafts card stock in Chocolate chip, added a little shading of yellow to make it look like the sun rising in the morning. It was very light here early this morning, I was awake at 6.30am !!

Greeting ~ SU Congratulations set

English Country Garden ~ 2

This is the other card I made with the English Country Garden 3D, they are great for a quick card.
I have printed and then cut out the daisies layering them on the side of the Marianne double frame die.
The scripture stamp is from Cuddly Buddly '1 John & Psalms 46' which I stamped with Night Of Navy ink.

A very simple card but very delicate in its simplicity.

Less Is More ~ Off The Edge

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at  'Less Is More' which is 'Off The Edge'.
Now I had to dust the cobwebs off this stamp from Rubber Romance which has been in my collection for some time, she is called 'Robin The Dog Lover' I bought her from a great seller on Etsy. I have to say she looks very chic walking her dog doesn't she, nothing like me when I'm walking Brad and Ella lol..mind you I think those heels would sink in the mud!

I really love looking at all the lovely card people have made for this challenge, you are ALL very inspirational
so nice to see so many different stamps being used in so many different ways. I am going to try and visit as many of you as i can this evening, before tomorrows new challenge.

I'm off now to find my pink wellies and regatta jacket to get the fur babies walked before I go to work :)

English Country Garden

Here is something a little bit different from Czes Pachela called 'English Country Garden Digi 3D' which includes a card base and a topper, available exclusively from Cuddly Buddly.

This one is the Rose version but there is also a Daisy one too, have to say the Rose one is my favourite and I love this Butterfly from the Marianne creatables die collection which I have cut out twice.

These are great for adding your stamped images or creating your own wording for the center, add a photo or like I have a die cut butterfly, the possibilities are endless.

Less Is More ~ Three Squares

I have had another little go at the 'Less Is More' Challenge this week which is 'Three Squares', although I still find it very tricky doesn't come naturally I can tell you lol..
This card was made with my new SU! stash that I treated myself to recently after seeing all the lovely cards made with this set called 'Bliss'. Sadly its no longer available to order.
I cut the little squares out with the corner punch then stamped the little butterflies into them, was easy peesy with the unmounted stamps as could line them up real easy.

Waterside Fun

This is the first time i have tried to make a stepper card and although the first one went in the bin I have to say I'm fairly pleased with this one. The little cat and bunny and ducks have been cut out and added to a little bit of card and attached so they stand out, a little like a pop out card.

The lovely cute images are designed by Eline Pellinkhoff and are available to down load at Cuddly Buddly for a fantastic price of £1.55 and for that you get 4 designer papers as well as  lots of cutes images. There are another two sets also available called 'Friends' and 'Spring time'.

This is for my friends grandsons 1st Birthday in May, yep getting myself well organised lol..My lovely friend Linda suggested making a bunting to put on the card, it looks like the little ducks are holding it.

I'm entering my card into Papertake weekly which this week is 'Anything Goes'.
