Something a little different

Here is something a little different from me but I have to say I like it.
This is a commissioned card for a friend of a friend whose only request was a BIG card with his wife's name on and her age, I just hope he likes it as I know nothing about the lady in question.
The image is a Nice and easel sheet from La Pashe these really are beautiful images and fill an 8x8 card very nicely. The papers are from the Designer series from SU! thought they matched the Peony flower perfectly.
Well my week off is almost over :( its back to work for me Monday. I have managed to get my bedroom decorated, new carpet and bedding, its all looking very posh I am very pleased with it.

Good afternoon its a grey old day here in Cheshire and fairly cold considering its June..
This is another card from the new 'Island Girls' collection over at Cuddly Buddly , looks like she has her hands full with these two little rascals, defo double trouble lol....

I have coloured my images in with the usual Copics and Prisma pencils. The beautiful papers are 'Cottage collection' in Duck Egg blue also downloads from Cuddly Buddly, I think this is my favourite set of papers.

The lovely ticket sentiment is from 'The Garden Vigrettes ticket sentiment collection by Bits of Ivory available at Cuddly Buddly , I do loves these so watch out as they will be on all my cards lol...

Well I best get back to the decorating :( Don't know if i will get much time to make cards, even though i am off work for a whole week. Enjoy your weekend xx

Meet Furgus MacFluffy

This is one of the new MacFluffies range from Cuddly Buddly he is called Fergus MacFluff  - 'All Mine' by Pachela Studios one of the many artists at Cuddly Buddly.

I love this cute little dog and can't wait to meet the other in the Macfluffies range. I'm sure they will be very popular for those difficult men's cards that we all struggle with.

If you haven't made your Fathers Day card yet why not get yourself over the Cuddly Buddly and download Fergus. I have coloured the image in with my usual mix of Copics and Prisma pencils, Czes has made it really easy by adding the shading.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Fizzy Moon

This card I made a while ago but never got around to sharing on my blog. Its one of the Fizzy Moon stamps they are so cute, so many cute stamps around at the minute.
I have coloured the image with copics and prisma pencils for shading. The papers are a mixture from my bitty box, think the dotty one is Pink petticoat and the other papers is from Cuddly Buddly Bits Of Ivory Digi papers which print out beautifully.
I have to say I'm struggling with making cards at the moment, its just not happening think we all go through this at times, I'm sure it will come back to me eventually so until then I may be missing in action.

Less Is More ~ Pick A Square

Good afternoon folks here is my card for the Less Is More which is 'Pick A Square'
I opted for the simple option a central square, a very quick card using a small card I had laying around my desk, think it will make a nice little notelet.

The stamp is from the bargain bin at the Port Sunlight show 3 for £1, they where freebies with the Craft Stamper magazine. I have stamped the flower in with Perfect plum ink form SU! blended a little with SU! blender pen to give a little bit of a washed effect.

Thank goodness the weather seems to be improving, so fed up of all the rain and wind. I hope the weather is good for you all today.

A Little Note

Just a short post from me tonight as not a lot to say about this card.
The image is a LOTV die cut, such a cut sweet image which has been cut out with an oval nestability.
The papers are SU! and where a freebie from my lovely friend Linda, they are lovely papers mixing and matching is not a problem with these papers.

I am hoping to get a little bit of crafting done tomorrow before I go to work, so may have something to share with you tomorrow if all goes to plan xx

Me To You

Yesterday I treated myself to some Me To You Bears, have always loved these little Tatty Teddies.
I have to say they are very easy to colour, which is just great for me who is really struggling with colouring at the minute. I have used the Bear called 'A Gift inside' Stamp and coloured the bear with Copics and Prisma pencils, I did cheat and copy the colours on the stamp lol... The papers are also from The 'Me To You' range of papers, I like the pretty pastel shades in this pack.

Anyway I hope you like my little bear? I have two more in my collection to play with so watch this space.
I am entering this card into the 'Papertake Weekly' Challenge which is pale, pretty pastels.

I hope you are all having a lovely B/H weekend even though the weather is a bit rubbish at least it hasn't rained here, but been a very dull grey day. Its back to work for me tomorrow, don't really mind to be honest as its a short week for me as guess who is going to see 'Take That' on Friday??? Yep me, I'm so excited..

Tea Time With Teddy Tumble

Here is Teddy Tumble at  a 'Tea Party' doesn't he look so cute pouring the cuppa tea?
This was a dream to print and cut, makes a very sweet Birthday card don't you think? As I have struggled with cards lately it was nice to do a bit of decoupage for a change, although the layout is fairly simple it makes a lovely card, well I think so lol..

There are two new 3D sheets from Czes available at Cuddly Buddly, this one and 'Precious Pup Temptation' both as cute as each other. I have used the very lovely ' Cottage Collection' Papers in Lavender, also available from Cuddly Buddly in lots of different colours.

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday x

Less Is More ~ White On White

I have made the 'Less Is More' Challenge this week which is 'White On White'
You wouldn't believe how many shades of white there are, suppose its the same with Black too.
Now the challenge says Less Is More so I may have made this card to busy, that's the trouble with me at the minute I keep adding more and more things to my card. I really need to revert back to basics have been so disappointed with my card making lately, was thinking of packing it all in!

Anyway my card has been made with the Daisy die and leaf die, which is  available from SU!
I bought mine form my lovely friend Linda who I can really throughly recommend.
The wording was done with a Cuttlebug embossing folder I suddenly remembered about, it was like a Eureka moment lol... I think I should of left the daisy trim off the card but to late now its all stuck down.

Hope you have better weather where every you are in the world, its typical April weather here, rain, sunshine, rain, sunshine but not really to cold. I am hoping to get the washing dry during the sunny periods,so hope.
