I have used a Teddy Bo image and coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils, poor Bo is tired and making his way to bed. That's just the way I feel this week with all the awful weather we have been having, its more like winter than summer!! I hope we manage to get a few more summery days before the nights start drawing in.

SCSC ~ Happy Fathers Day

This weeks challenge On Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge is 'Happy Fathers Day'I know its not Fathers day until a week tomorrow but we want to get you prepared.I have used  Teddy Bo _152 'Cycling Bo'  a image great image for those difficult to make men's cards, coloured with the usual Promarkers and Prisma's. I have used SU! Designer paper pack, with SU! ribbon to make the bow, greeting is LOTV  circle greeting stamp.

Its Our Granddaughters Christening this weekend. I can't believe she is now almost 7 months old, where has the time gone??? Here is a little photo of her with her Mum and little brother, she is as cute as a button.

This weeks challenge at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge is 'Anything Goes' a nice easy challenge where you can make what ever you want, so we should have lots of entries this week. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp for a change, she has been coloured with Promarkers and Prisma Pencils. I have used Nit Wit papers that are a lovely shade of blue, I am liking blue more and more instead of my usual pink and lilac lol..

SCSC~ Anything but a card

This weeks 'Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge' is 'Anything but a card'

So I thought I would get on with my scrap booking of my granddaughter Sara.This is her first photo taken the day she was born when ,she is now 6 months old and a real bundle of fun, such a lovely age.

I have never done scrap booking before so started with a simple 8x8 page layout with designer papers which I got at NEC from Create & Craft, think it was in their goody bag for £5. I think I will have a go at doing a few more pages now although it will never take over my love of card making.

Teddy Bea

You can imagine my joy when my 'Simply Cards & Papercrafts  magazine arrived with two Teddy Bo stamps attached. I quickly set to work and began to colour my little Teddy Bea stamp with Prisma pencils and a little bit of paper piecing with the free papers in the magazine.

 I have to say I am a little disappointed with the colouring of Teddy Bea as she has been stamped onto a smooth card that I wanted to try with my Prisma's as I am quickly running out of my favourite card that blends beautifully. If anyone can help me in my quest to find a suitable alternative I would be very grateful, its almost have a coarse feel to it defiantly not a smooth shiny feel. 

I have again followed the sketch by Tammy from the Teddy Bo Challenge blog. They have a DT call on at the minute so if you love your Teddies why not hop along and have a little look, you still have until Sunday to enter, even if you don't want to be a DT member you can enter and may be win some Teddy Bo digis.

I hope you have all had a lovely day weather wise its been beautiful here and guess who has a few days off :) I was lucky enough to be off last time we had a mini heatwave in March, my next hols are not until Mid July now so I am making the most of my time off.

Gosh another week has passed us by and its time for another Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge which is 'In The Garden' I have cheated and used one of the lovely toppers from Wee Stamps, so no colouring in from me this week. These toppers are so so sweet, just love Sylvia's cute images so many lovely ones to pick from. The papers are from SU! just fab for a nice quick card.

The weather has been a little naff the last couple of weeks hasn't it? I am hoping we will have some nice weather next week as I have a few days off yipppeee.... so so need some time to myself.

D'Arcy's Buttons & Bows

Good afternoon Bloggers I have a D'Arcy card to share with you today, its been a while since I have taken part in one of their challenges which is 'Buttons & Bows' so had a little play this weekend and went with a nice chocolate brown and pink combo. The papers are one of my recent purchases from Nitwits downloads called 'Puppy love too',nice pinks and browns in this collection. The greeting is from LOTV which fits nicely into a scallop circle from SU!, Doohickey large flower with bow and buttons from stash.

I feel very unsettled lately, you know when you are feeling its time for change! Wanting more out of life,may be a new house, a new job,emigrate lol.... I think we all go through feelings like this through out life, I am sure I will snap out of it soon (Hopefully!) I blame my age for everything, especially as I am approaching that half century lol..

I made this card for my Mother-In-Law for her Birthday last month in pretty pastel pink shades.The image is from the Lilli Of the Valley die cuts pack so a nice easy card to make, I used a large 8x8 card.

I haven't really made any cards this week, although have a few images coloured up so watch this space. The weather has been very so changeable this week, it was so warm yesterday although showery today its blinking freezing with heavy showers, felt more like October than May! Bea pretty in Pink

I have a serious addiction to these image, in case you hadn't noticed lol..I have coloured Bea in with Promarkers and Prisma pencils as usual..

 I have used some pretty papers from Dovecraft Back to Basic set , so many pretty papers in this collection. The flowers are from my collection, trouble is I will need to make another box now.

Oh well we have another Bank holiday weekend ahead, so for all those who get the extra day off enjoy.I don't think the weather forecast is too good, as usual but at least its an extra day off work.

I am entering my card into the 'Colour Create Challenge' which is ~ Rose Pink, Kraft and white a lovely colour combo, thanks you for the inspiration. Think this also qualify for the Teddybo Challenge which is 'Bottons' I have used some very tiny flower buttons, so think it will count.
