A Little Gift

I made this little box for 4 little Teelight candles i bought form IKEA, they are rose fragrance so thought i would use my SU' A Rose Is A Rose' set of stamps, shamefully this is their first inking up tut tut. I made my bow with the bow easy which makes life so much easier when it comes to doing pretty bows.

Well whats happened to the weather? Its blinking cold here today and very wet and windy, at least we have no snow.

I had a lovely time at the weekend at the NEC, spent far to much money lol...I met up with my lovely friends from Cuddly Buddly and we shopped until we dropped :) It was lovely to meet Jacqui and Marlene, both lovely lovely ladies. Thanks to Dawny P for her company on the train down to Birmingham, it made the journey a pleasureable one.

Oh well best get going as have promised Dawny i will make my card for the Anya Challenge this week.

Just Cute Bears 'Easter'

Phew i struggled this week to come up with an image for this challenge, but then remember about my PC crafter images i have stored in my archives lol... This bear is from the Bear for all seasons set, so you may well be seeing some more of these. I printed the image out onto linen card then cut out with my nesties. The papers are digi papers from Cuddly Buddly , the Miss Daisy set again, just love the colours.

A Funny Card

This card is for my friends husband, its his birthday tomorrow and i just knew this image was the right one for him when i saw it lol..... I hope he finds it funny, I'm sure he will.
The image was stamped for my by a friend, some time ago so i have no idea whose it is (sorry)
Its a basic card just using coordinating card stock from SU, with a few stars punched with my Quickutz.
I am this weekend at the NEC with my lovely Cuddly Buddly friends :) I'm sure we will have great fun, so looking forward to catching up with everyone. I'm very lucky to have the company of Dawny P tomorrow on my journey down there :) I'm hoping to see a few blogging friends too :) I will tell you all about it on my return Monday evening, with an update of what i have spend my hard earned cash on.

This week at Just Cute Bears we have a sketch by Jane. I have done something completely different this week and used a download from Cuddly Buddly, Bath time Bear in blue its also available in pink for the girls. The card isn't my usual 6x6 square, instead i have used a 5x7, defo out of my comfort zone lol... The bubbles have had glamour dust added to them to give them a little bit of a shimmer.
I have a whole week off next week so hope to participate in a few challenges, mind i said that last time i was off! I'm excited as am off to the NEC next weekend with some of my Cuddly Buddly pals, we will have so much fun :)

Anyway here is my card coloured as always with Promarkers and Prisma pencils, although i am considering getting some Copic Ciao markers. What do you think ?
Its been a real challenge to keep my card all white as i always use patterned paper somewhere on my card. I have to say i do love the simplicity of this card and have a few ideas up more sleeve for more cards with this look, using my new butterfly die :)

I have used one of my new Lili Of The Valley stamps, called Teddy with bouquet is he or she sweet? I thought it would make a good Mothers Day card for my Mother In Law, she loves flowers. The image has been coloured in with Promarkers and prisma pencils for the shading. The beautiful papers are from Cuddly Buddly, i loves the Miss Daisy spring papers the colours are lovely in this set.

New Releases At Cuddly Buddly

There is a big release of new stamps over at Cuddly Buddly today, lovely Beloved Bunnies and Bible Verses. This card has been made with the Bible verse set 'isaiah-40-hebrews', the verse was stamped in navy and layered with nestabilities. The lovely paper was a FREE download from Cuddly Buddly. The bow was made with my Bow easi, quite pleased with how this turned out. The other Crafty friends have also been very busy and have made some smashing cards so pop over and check them out .

Challenge #6 Mint and Brown

This weeks challenge at Just Cute Bears is Mint and Brown. The girls this week have come up with some great cards once again, so remember to pop over and take a look at their blogs you won't be disappointed.



I have used a Forever Friends stamp this week, coloured in with promarkers and prisma pencils, lil bit of glitter and paper piecing. I left taking a picture of my card until this evening so hence the colours haven't come out to good. The chocolate brown card stock looks more like black, if i get chance tomorrow i will take another photo.
Well my week off is almost at an end and what a week i have had! I have been full of cold all week, sniffles and sneezes then chipped a tooth so had to pay a visit to the dentist, was not a happy bunny :(
Its been nice to have some time off and do absolutely nothing :) Only another 3 weeks until i am off again, then i go to the NEC :O

For my card i used the very sweet Bobby Bear from Cuddly Buddly, i have coloured him with prisma pencils. The card stock is Bazzil bling and the yummy papers are Cuddly Buddly downloads fairy fun papers lavender and a freebie from the Cuddly Buddly site, Kim is very generous and has many freebies you can download. Cuddly Buddly Crafts

For a change this week i used a 5x7 card, I'm not to keen on using this sized card much prefer the 5x5 square card, as most of us crafters seem to. I have also played about with my photo editing and change the design of the shot a little!

I have used one of my new Crafters Companion Popcorn Bear stamps called 'A Gift For You' isn't he sweet, these stamps are so big i was amazed. Popcorn bear has been coloured in with promarkers and prisma pencils, as usual. The papers are from Pink Petticoat 'just an old fashioned girl' paper collection, i used these as couldn't find any other papers with hearts on. The MS punch has been used yet again, you would think this is the only punch i have but trust me i do have others lol.. I will try and use a different punch next week.

Forever Home

This is Ella our lovely little girl has been with us 12 month tomorrow, isn't she lovely? We adopted her from the North West Golden Retriever Rescue in Chorley which is a voluntary organisation run by Jan Robinson who has done a fantastic job of re homing these beautiful dogs. Since she started the rescue in 1984 she has helped re homed more than 5000 dogs, unbelievable that so many dogs would need a new home but thanks to Jan they have.
When we got Ella on the 8th Feb 2009 she has been a stray and brought to the rescue, we believe she was about 12 months old, so she is probably about two now. This is the first time we have adopted a dog and have to say we would do it again, its so rewarding to see how she has changed in those 12 months with lots of love and affection. This was taken a few weeks ago when we had all the snow, she just loved it.

I used a Cuddly Buddly stamp for my card 'Teddy Cheers" coloured with prisma pencils, think i have made the bears a little darker than normal, may be they have been on their holidays lol..

I think this would make a lovely wedding card or engagement, there are so many different occasions you could use this stamp for.

I have to admit i did leave making my card until the last minute, then panicked a little last night when things wouldn't go right for me (that will teach me)

Happy 18th Birthday

I have made this card using my Cricut which has been sadly neglected for some time, in fact i had forgotten how to use it lol... The frame was cut with the Storybook cartridge as where the flourish and lettering, its such a nice font to use.
I have now decided I'm going to the NEC in March :) I had lieu time to use up in work so booked a week off :) Tickets booked and accommodation booked. I'm traveling by train on the Saturday, meeting some of my lovely friends from the Cuddly Buddly forum and some of us are staying over for two nights, a nice girly weekend. I'd best start saving my pennies lol..
