LOTV~ Challenge 61

I have treated myself to some of the cute lil bears from LOTV so thought i would enter the LOTV challenge this week which is a lovely sketch by Bev. This one is James and his presents which i have coloured in with Copics and Prisma pencils. The lovely papers are SU! from the christmas series they are so easy to mix and match when your having an off day and find it difficult to pick a colour combo.
The weather is a little better here today thankfully, but still not very summery! I am hoping the B/H weekend weather is going to be ok, would be nice to have a BBQ for a change...

Star Of Wonder

Here is another Christmas card i have made with the wonderful Christmas stamps from Cuddly Buddly, they are also available in 3D and digi stamps. This one is called 'Star Of Wonder' coloured with Copics and prisma pencils, lots of glamour dust added for that extra sparkle. The greeting is from the Scripture set 'Verse- John 1 & Psalm 46' The snowflakes are made with the Marianne creatable dies as are the flourishes. The papers are the fabby 'Frosted Lace' set of download papers from Cuddly Buddly.
Hasn't the weather been awful today? Luckily i managed to avoid the torrential down pours when i walked to work this afternoon, but you dare not leave the house with out a brolly. I think summer is well and truly over, its decidedly chilly this evening.

Just Cute bears Challenge ~ Buttons and Blooms

Good morning, the sun appears to be shining this morning here in Cheshire makes you feel so much better in yourself don't you think? This week at Just Cute Bears we want to see your 'Buttons and Blooms', i just loves adding flowers to my cards the trouble is you have to then make a box for them as they won't fit in an envelope! Does anyone know where you can buy a boxalope (is that the correct work?) The papers are from the Wild Rose studio pack called Polka Dots, the border was punched with EK 'Daisy Scallop'. The lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, leaves punched with MS frond punch, buttons are Papermania. The stamp i have used this week is a Forever friends stamp called 'Surprise', i have used Promarkers and Prisma pencils to colour the bears in with.
I have decided to step down from my DS post at Just Cute Bears as just don't find the time to make cards as i used to :(, its always such a rush and i leave it until the last minute then have to rush! I have enjoyed my time there and wish the girls all the very best xx

I have managed to find time to take part in the LOTV Challenge which this week is a lovely sketch by Bev. The papers i have used are all SU! in fact the lovely Jules sent me these a little gift with my last order. The image is from the LOTV die cut range which i stocked up on whilst they where 50p each, these are great for a nice quick card, although i do feel i have cheated when i don't colour in the image lol...This one is called Fairy Present. The flowers are from Wild Orchid, aren't they yummy? The border punch was one of my old Fiskar border punches, think its called Sunburst it very similar to one of the MS punches.

Just Cute Bears ~ Anything But Square

This week on Just Cute Bears the challenge is "Anything But Square & Include A Tag"
I didn't have a clue what i was going to do for this weeks challenge, so came as a little surprise to me lol.... I'm not a great lover of green so why i used it as my main colour i don't know!
The image is one of my favourite Forever Friends stamps, coloured with Copics and Prisma's.
I treated myself to a new EK Success punch this week called Daisy scallop, i have fallen out with my MS punches as after a while they just give up the ghost :( The EK in my opinion are much stronger, just wish the range was bigger but I'm sure it will be in time :)
I am now off work for a whole week, yippeeeeee..... Just hope the weather improves a little so i can relax sunning myself in the garden with a good book.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend and find time to do some crafting xxx

There are some fab new Christmas stamps from Cuddly Buddly coming out in August, so keep a look out. The image was printed onto graphic/ text paper on my Epson printer and left to dry over night, i used a mixture of Copics and prisma pencil to colour the bears in, lots of glitter added for good measure. The papers are CB they are from the Immanuel christmas collection.

I am also entering this card into the Fun n Funky challenge which is also Christmas..... in July, also Cute Card Thursday which is called 'Getting a head start'.

I hope you all have a good weekend even though the weather is supposed to be a bit naff, i'm full of cold so plan on staying in anyway.
