Pretty in Blue

Its my sisters Birthday on Thursday and although i have many cards in my card box i wanted to make her a special one. I have used the wonderful sketch from 'Truly Scrumptious' the optional extra on this sketch was to use a knot, well i guess the bow qualifies as the knot! I really enjoyed working with the sketch, so thanks girls for the inspiration. The papers are from SU, just love these pretty pastel designer papers is blue, think these are my favourite. The lovely fairy is a die cut from LOTV, just love these for those quick to make cards. I am also entering this into 'My Time To Craft' which is 'Jewelled' so out come my little blue stick on jewels, love a little bit of bling on a card. The sentiment has been done on the PC, bow and jewels from stash.

Fun in the rain

Here is another card i made with the Rainy Day Bear set from Cuddly Buddly, isn't he so sweet? I am hoping that we don't have any rain today as its been so nice the last two day, although its quite overcast here this morning. The card has been made with the Patchwork red set from Cuddly Buddly, these are great downloads and print out beautifully. The border was made with an Stampin up punch, hearts made with a punch and a little pearl added to each one, bow from stash. I have only a week and and a half in work now then i will be off to sunny Tenerife :)

Just Cute Bears challenge was embossing this week so thought i'd have a play and join in, some super cards from the DT once again, miss you mwah x This is the lovely cute bear from LOTV, coloured with the usual Copics and Prisma's. The embossing was done with the Swiss dots embossing folder. The doily MS punch has been behaving its self lately, sometimes it works a treat then sometimes it doesn't! Oh and not forgetting my new MS Butterfly punch which was a bargain buy from Oyster stamps. Well just a quick posting from me as i am off to work shortly, just today to go then I'm off for the weekend :)

Sketch & Stash challenge 43

I have some exciting news to share with you, i have been asked to join the lovely girls over at 'Sketch and Stash' well naturally i said yes, i am sure i will find the time to get my cards made especially as you have a whole fortnight between challenges. I did so love being on the Just Cute Bears Challenge but didn't always find the time to make a card each week :(
Anyway as i have been asked to join the DT i thought i would give this weeks sketch a go, which was design by Sue, its a great sketch to work with thanks Sue :) Now the rules are to use something new, so out come my very neglected LOTV stamps that i won as blog candy. This little guy is great for any sports enthusiast, he has been coloured with Copics and Prismas, as usual The papers are from Pink Petticoat, circle greeting is from Craftwork cards, buttons from SU.
I hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather this week? It was bound to happen when the children returned to school wasn't it, every years been the same may be they should move the school holiday!
