This weeks Secret Crafters Challenge is 'Happy New Year Or Celebration'I opted for a Wedding celebration as can't think about New Year until we have had Christmas lol..

Christmas Time

Well Christmas is fast approaching and I still had no cards made to add to my box in work!
Then i remembered about the LOTV die cuts I bought last year,so put together 10 cards very quickly.
I am still very behind with cards with not a lot of time left now, so don't think I will get chance to make any more. I always intend to make a few a week but it never happens like that, so some shop bought ones will make the numbers up (hangs head in shame lol )

I hope that you are all more organised than me? I have all my presents almost wrapped and my tree is up, so its beginning to look a lot like Christmas now :) x

SCSC~ All Creatures Great And Small (including Aliens)

This week at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge its 'All Creatures Great and Small' (including Aliens)
Once again this week we I have used another LOTV die cut, mainly because they make a nice quick card when you don't have a lot of time. I honestly don't know where the days are going!!

I hope you are all prepared for Christmas? I have a few bits more to get then the mammoth task of wrapping begins. I have booked my online shop for the 22nd December so I don't have to rush around the supermarkets battling with the crowds of people.

SCSC~ Photo Inspiration

This week at Secret Crafter we have a  photo inspiration Challenge.

Here is my interruption of the photo.

I have used a LOTV die cut square which are great for those nice quick easy cards. I have added some much needed glitter to her hat and cuffs. The lovely papers are Echo Park, just love their Christmas range of papers. The oval sentiment is one from Craftwork cards, bow and pearls from stash. All in all a very quick card, needed to be as well as only thought on about it this morning lol.... Its just so hectic at the minute.
I hope you will join us in the challenge this week, look forward to looking at your cards.

So lets go for it this month, spread the word everyone has a Teddy image in their collection.

I have used a Fizzy Moon stamp, yes stamped with real ink and a stamp pad lol... Is it just me or are we reverting to digi stamps much more now? There certainly seem a lot more of them out there. I have coloured my image with Promarkers for a change, wouldn't mind some Flex markers from Santa lol..

I have a busy weekend ahead but an enjoyable one, little Sara is coming to visit Nanna with her Mummy, Daddy and lil brother., so lots of cuddles for me.

A Sketch ~ SCSC

Morning a very quick post from me this morning, as I am chasing my tail again lol..This week on Secret Crafter we have a sketch to follow, I do love a sketch. (I will fill you in on all the details when i return from work after 7pm, then a night in front of the TV for me I think) There is still no news on the baby but I will let you know if anything happens.

The papers are from Craft Creations. I printed the letters out on the PC and coloured them in with Promarkers. The flourish die is by Making Memories they have some lovely dies out at the moment, the only tricky bit is sticking them down as they are quite fine. I cut the flourish out then cut it so I could position it in this way, in fact think they where left over from a previous project.

Skiing SnowBuddy

This Little Skiing Snowbuddy is a download from Cuddly Buddly by Karen Middleton, they are just great for a nice quick Christmas card. I am so behind with my Christmas cards once again this year, I think I have loads of time then before I know it December is here.
The papers are also digi downloads they are Toby Tumbles Christmas papers from Pachela Studios , which are soft pastel colours. I have kept my card quite plan and simple with not a lot of embellishments, making for a very plain and simple card.
Have a lovely evening and enjoy watching Children In Need on the BBC, the news readers are always my favourites. What are yours? Remember to pop back tomorrow for my SCSC xx

SCSC~ Flowers,Ribbon & Lace

This is my first week as a design team member at Secret Crafter.
The challenge this week is Ribbon, Flowers & Lace, quite easy really as we all have these items in our stash lol.. This lovely wee stamp is a sugar Nellie stamp called 'Candy Pip' isn't she sweet? This is the first time I have inked her up, shame on me. The papers are from Nitwits 'Bumbleberry Too' which are such pretty pastel coloured papers, printing out beautifully.

Well I had best dash as I am in work today 10-7 then off to my Son's for the weekend, wouldn't it be nice if the baby decided it was going to be this weekend he/she made an appearance :)

Have a good Bonfire night , stay safe

Ready-Teddy-Go ~Take It Easel

Good morning bloggers, pinch, punch the first of the month.
Its another new month so that means another new challenge on Ready-Teddy-Go
This months challenge is to make an easel card and here is mine made with a LOTV die cut.
The papers are from Pink Petticoat which I got  Free with a magazine.
The die cut swirly is one of my new dies from Memory box its very pretty but a sod to glue lol..

You have a whole month to take part in this challenge and there are some lovely Fizzy Moon goodies for one lucky participant, so off you go and get creative :)

I am mega excited this month as my first grandchild is due. We don't know if it s a girl or a boy so its a little surprise, I must admit a little girl would be lovely (especially as I had two boys) but as long as everything is OK I don't really mind :) Will keep you posted.

Santa Claus

Here is another one of the great Christmas stamps that are available at Cuddly Buddly by Karen Middleton.
This is 'Santa On A Bauble' I have coloured my image with SU! inks again will have to practice a bit more but am pleased with my first attempt, just need to find more time to play. The papers are 'Pretty Classy Christmas' digi papers which are great for traditional Christmas cards.

This card is pretty plain and simple I am finding these cards much more my style than adding lots of embellishments which look good on other peoples cards but awful on mine.

I hope you have all had a nice weekend? I work Saturday so my weekend is Sunday/Monday as they are my two days off together. I have been looking around the garden centres today at all the Christmas gifts to get a few idea's into my head for people, I intend being organised this year :)

I have coloured my image with SU inks and blended with SU blender pens, I am quite impressed with my first attempt :) I needed a nice Christmas red and didn't have one so hence me trying inks. I buy my SU! products from my lovely friend Linda if anyone fancies trying the inks and blender pens.

The papers are Cuddly Buddly Patchwork red great for traditional Christmas cards. The sentiment ticket is FREE from Cuddly Buddly. Kim has generously put lots of FREE digi's on the Cuddly Buddly site for you to print, no excuses now for not getting those Christmas cards done, especially as the weeks are whizzing by.

I also have some exciting news which some of you may of spotted already. I have been asked to join the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Team, how lucky am I to be joining such a fab team of crafters.

We have had some good news about Brad this week :) The results came back clear which is brilliant but I'm so angry with the consultant for putting us through all that stress and worry he should never of told us he thought it was cancer, he should of said lets wait for the biopsy results. The results we had to chase ourselves as the consultant never got back to us, so four weeks later we contacted our own vet who found out for us.
It really was a huge relief ,thank you to those of you who have been asking about Brad.

Anniversary Card

This was a commissioned card I was asked to make for a Wedding Anniversary.
I find it so difficult making a card for commissions as always worry about if they will like it or not, especially when you don't know who you are making it for! I still don't know if they liked it, hopefully they did.

I have used a large 8x8 card with SU! papers and card. The main image is a 3D sheet from Crafts Creations, I do love their step by step sheets so easy to use and such good value.

I hope you have all had a nice weekend? I have been to visit my Son and his girlfriend this weekend, Beata is Polish and her parent are over for a visit so we went to meet them, it was difficult to communicate as they speak no English, we still had a good evening Beata had to do the translating lol..
