Its been a while since I have taken part in the challenge that I forgot to schedule my post this morning whoops. I haven't felt much like crafting lately think we all go through feeling like this, then we think everything looks naff and why do we bother lol....A lot of it is to do with our frame of mind and my frame is a little wonky at the moment, feeling very unsettled.

So I have used a very cute bunny from LOTV die cuts for my card with one of my new nestie squares.

There is not a lot more to say about this card, pretty plain and ordinary.

This card was made with another one of the Wee Suzi's Garden die cuts that are just great for a nice quick easy card, as no colouring needed its all done for you. I have used a real mix of dies with this card, the lovely square die from Cherry Lynn that I just love so you will see it a few times over the next few months.

The weather has been awful today hasn't it? Rain, Rain and more Rain lets hope the sunshine returns real soon. I was off last week so enjoyed being at home relaxing doing my own thing, in fact i could get used to it to be honest lol...

The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge is 'Inspired By A Film'

This is a great challenge it really does make you think lol.. I at first thought OH NO what am i going to do! Then I had one of those Eureka moments and thought of many stamps I had that where suitable, the DT have made some great cards so pop over and take a looksy you won't be disappointed.

I have used a Teddy Bo stamp that I won on the Teddy Bo blog a few months back. The Inspiration came from the film tile 'Camelot'  This was scheduled to be posted yesterday as I was away with my hubby in Blackpool at a regimental reunion, had a fab time but well and truly shattered now lol.. so an early night is on the cards for me tonight..

Teddy Bo Challenge ~ Spring

The challenge at Teddy Bo this week is 'Spring' I have used a very sweet Teddy Bea image, she is certainly enjoying the spring weather sat on the grass with her bonnet on, couldn't do that as yet as the grass is far to wet lol. its been tipping it down here this morning, typical April shower type of weather.

 Its not often i use blue for a girly card but have to say I likey this one, not often I am pleased with cards I make, to fussy I am lol.. this is for my friends Birthday in May, will have to make a box for this one as its got flowers on it , been a while since I have used these kind of flowers.

I am also entering my card into the' Colour Create' challenge which is ' Yellow, Blue & White'

Wow I must be on a roll this week, this is the 3rd card I have posted this week. This is another of the very sweet images from Sylvia Zet, the colouring has all been done for me as I have used a topper. I have a few more of these toppers so watch this space, I hope I don't forget how to colour lol... 

The weather has improved a little bit today, its not quite as wet but its still very cold. I expect the weather will improve next week when the children go back to school, usually the way isn't it?

Spring!

Good morning Bloggers hope the weather is better in your part of the world than it is here in Cheshire.Its absolutely tipping it down with rain here, not been a very good Easter weekend weather wise has it?

I have made another quick card using on the toppers from the Hobby House but this time is a very cute image from Sylvia at Wee Stamps. I had the pleasure of working with Sylvia's cute digi's when I was on the Cuddly Buddly creative team. I have used papers from the Back the basic's paper pad from Dovecrafts, these mix and match beautifully. The very pretty Doohickey dies from Magnolia, just love these flowers and swirls, they fill a card nicely don't you think? Round greeting from LOTV .

Anyway enjoy your day what ever you may be doing. I am off out for lunch with my MIL as its her Birthday tomorrow and i am working, it last it saves me cooking ; xx.

This was a quick card I made with one of the toppers from the 'Hobby House' this is one of the Mo Mannings sheet, she is just so cute isn't she? I have used bold colours on this card which is totally not me lol...I am very much a pastel kind of girl to be honest. I hope you are all having a lovely Easter and not pigged out to much on chocolate lol... I have some Galaxy mini eggs that I treated myself to they are very yummy.

The DT have made some lovely cards this week with Digi's from DigiDarla Designs who are one of our sponsors this week. I have used 'Easter Girl' isn't she so sweet dressed as an Easter Bunny collecting eggs.

I have coloured her with a combo of pens and pencils. The papers and greeting are from 'Cuddly Buddly',card stock from SU! The pencil and leafy flourish are Marianne creatable dies, the doily was made with Cheery Lynn die, love this so you will be seeing it a few times lol.. may just need some more of these.

SCSC~ Shape up for spring

This weeks Challenge at 'Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge' is 'Shape Up For Spring' (Shaped Cards) I think its should of been Shape Up for Summer! The weather certainly has been beautiful this week hasn't it? And guess what? I have been off ALL week, how lucky have I been to have such great weather.

I have used a Penny Black Stamp this week just for a change, I do love this wee little duckie its the expression on his/her face that makes me giggle. There isn't a lot of colouring to be done on this one so didn't take long to do at all lol... nice quick and simple. I just realised that i didn't really make a shaped card! Whoops I made an Easel card with a circle topper, silly women I am,to late to change it now so hope I am forgiven for mucking it up lol..

SCSC ~ Vintage/Shabby Chic

This weeks Secret Crafters Challenge is 'Vintage/Shabby Chic'
I have to admit when I  saw this weeks challenge I thought 'OH NO' I don't do Vintage or Shabby lol....So was well out of my comfort zone.

I have used a Saturated Canary digi called Whispy A Fairy isn't she so sweet, all of Krista's images are cute though. The papers are from a K&Company pad that I have had for some time now, the swirl and flowers are Doohickey dies.

 As you are reading this I will be on my way to the NEC for a spot of retail therapy with my fabby friend and  SCSC teamie Linda :) It just happens to be Linda's Birthday tomorrow -'Happy Birthday my dear friend' xx

The Grandchildren

I thought I would share a photo of my grandchildren with you since I don't have any cards to share. I just love the expression on Sara's face, she is looking at her little brother David as if to say "What are you doing" lol... I can't believe how quickly she is growing , she will be 4 months old tomorrow. 

Oh well I best get myself organised as I am off to Birmingham tomorrow for the weekend to meet up with my very dear friend Linda :) We are staying at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights and visiting the NEC on Saturday. So who else is going tomorrow? I expect it will be very busy so best get there early ;)

SCSC~ Doilies Are Not Just For Cakes

                    This week at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge it was my turn to decide what the challenge would be so I picked ~ 'Doilies' because I think they are a great feature on a card, have seen so many lovely cards made with them. You can make your own or die cut them so I am sure this will be a popular challenge this week. 

I was intending to use a square doily but it hid all the lovely paper which are from Nitwits 'Bumbleberry Too' collection.so I turned my square into a rectangle by chopping a bit off and the sticking it back on lol..

I have seen some lovely cards lately on the Magnolia Facebook group that it inspired me to dig one of my stamps out, think this one is from the chic range, can't remember now! The poor think was hiding at the back of my stamp drawer looking all neglected (Shame on me) I have coloured her with my usual mix of markers and Prisma pencils. I have another addiction Doohickey Dies, I have admired this flower for some time now so decided to treat myself  I call it an early Mothers Day gift to myself lol..

Teddy Bo ~ Menu Choice

I have used another Teddy Bea image, this only one of the images I picked as part of for my prize when i won the Teddy Bo 1st Birthday draw.

 I have coloured her with Prisma pencils. The papers are from the Dovecrafts' Back To Basics' paper pad, love the lovely pink papers in this pack. 

I have followed the menu on the Teddy Bo Challenge this week, have to confess the cram looks more beige whoops. Anyway this is my Menu -

 Starter ~ Pink and Cream, Main ~ Buttons, Dessert ~ Ribbon, Coffee ~Glitter.

 The ticket sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly, Birthday Greeting and ribbon are from SU! Oh well best get a wiggle on as I am well behind today and have loads to do before I can fit in a little more crafting.

This weeks Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge is 'No Image, Just Words' I have used a 'Paper Makeup' sentiment stamp that I have had in my collection for some time and never used, shame on me. I cut the greeting out with Nesties and layered it onto the oval lace die by Marianne's Creatables. The pretty border is another Fiskars die called Sunburst, sets it off nicely don't you think?
