Happy New year

I want to wish everyone who visits my blog a very happy New Year, may it be a good one for you all. I am so glad i began blogging as have made some lovely friends this year,thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me such encouraging comments, i appreciate every single one of them.

I haven't made any cards lately but hope real soon to get back into the swing of things again once Christmas is over and things get back to normal. I had to have my lovely dog Troy put to sleep the Friday before Christmas, i was so upset.We had had him for 13 years and was such a part of the family. We still have Brad who is a little sweetie.

I would like to send lots of love to my dear friend Gail who has had such a bad year, i can't even begin to imagine how awful it has been for her. Gail hope you are back card making soon x

Bargains

I have been a bad blogger and haven't uploaded anything for a while now, sorry. I think my mojo has a cold and doesn't want to play at the moment....
Its such a busy time of year with shopping and working etc that i think we all struggle to fit in a little bit of me time.
I have had an email from the lovely Dawny to let me know about a great sale that will be happening in her village hall in Saughall, i would be going myself as its on my door step so to speak but sadly i am working :( So anyone living near enough grab your pennies and get yourself a bargain or two. Macbeth meets Mojo Monday

I so love this image from Sugar Nellies, he is adorable isn't he?? Macbeth is his name and he has been coloured with prisma pencils. This is very similar to the previous card, as have used SU paper again with left over card. The stars are cut with quickutz die and border don with threading water punch.
I have made this card for a very special friends from the cuddly buddly forum, he hasn't been feeling to good lately so we thought we would send a card to help cheer him up.

Pringle

Here is Pringle from the fab soft centres range at Sugar Nellies called in with Promarkers and Prisma pencils, they are so sweet and cuddly.
The papers are my new SU papers that i adore, so had to cut wisely lol, the colours are so easy to match with these papers as you just pick up ideas from the papers. The greeting is computer generated. Flowers are Prima and lil buttons from my stash, leaves cut with Quickutz die and border punch is 'Threading water' from Friskars.
I am late posting tonight as have an awful head cold :( and fell asleep when i came home from work.
Now what challenge shall i enter this in???mmmm its qualifies for Secret crafter- 'Cute as a button' and a spoonful of Sugar, which is blooming marvelous.

Secret Crafter Challenge

This is such a cute stamp from Elzybell, i so loved this image and although i have lots of Christmas stamps i NEEDED this one lol, its the jugging Eskimo. I have tried to follow the secret crafter challenge but had to improvise in place as ran out of space whoops!! Was a great sketch this week and really inspired me to make a card. The image has been coloured with promarkers, DP is HOTP and the greeting is hero art.

Lil Sleeping Mouse

This is quite a plain Christmas card using one of the cute Elzybell Christmas stamps, isn't the mouse so cute ?? I have coloured with Promarkers and added some glamour dust for that lil bit of sparkle. The papers are HOTP, as is the embellishment. I got this set from QVC a few years ago and still go back and use a lil bit of it each Christmas :)

Meet Rory

At last a card and for a change its not a Christmas card!! These papers are a freeby from Jules, thank you :) they came with my Stampin Up! order on Saturday, aren't they yummy?? They are from the cute pie collection. I have followed this weeks sketch from sketch Saturday but flipped the layout. The image is Rory from the Home grown range at Sugar Nellies, my son bought me a few stamps and i said surprise me. Well Rory has been coloured in with Promarkers and layered onto DCWV card stock. The greeting is from hero arts and cut out with my new SU tab punch, which is just the right size for these greetings.

Bunny with more Gifts

Here is my final card that i made for Cuddly Buddly gallery :) I am please with the colouring but not so sure about the layout!! I have been a little fed up lately and sadly it has effected my crafting, sorry :( I have nothing new to share with you all at the minute, although have some cute stamped images coloured up but that's as far as i have got.
I have some lovely papers arriving from Stampin up! soon and hope these will help get my creative juices flowing, well we will have to wait and see.

Oh Jingle Bells

This is the cute little hedgehog from Cuddly Buddly, coloured with Promarkers and then cut out with my nesties. I have used DCWV card stock in red and green, the ribbon and snowflake brads are from CB , as are all the papers. This is a card on a card basically, think it is called a joy fold??
Tomorrow i promise to post something other than CB :)

Ding Dong Merrily

This was made with very bright colours, i think you may need your shades on to look at this card lol. Its a Cuddly Buddly Christmas stamp but thought it could be used for an Anniversary card or even a Birthday card. I did struggle with my mojo towards completing my 24 cards i made for the gallery, its trying to think of something different for each stamp.
I am not to sure i like this card, lol.

Bearing Gifts

This is another card i made for the Cuddly Buddly gallery, its a cute stamp called 'Bearing Gifts' and could be used for Easter and Birthdays. The image has been coloured with Promarkers , then cut out with round nestabilities, added some white dots with white gel pen. The papers are all CB downloads and are a dream to work with :)

Pink Petticoat Christmas

I at last have managed to make the card i should of done at the weekend!! When not feeling yourself its difficult to find the inspiration needed for card making. This last week i have had my libran scales off balance and not know if i was coming or going, but hey won't bore you with my problems lol.
I challenged my dear friend Bev to make a Christmas card with Pink petticoat images and papers, i then told her to pass the challenge on. Well it came back to me via Paul, lol. I now have to pass the challenge on, so am passing it to my very dear friend Linda :) I hope your mojo doesn't fail you as mine has.

My Best friend gift wallet

This is one again the lovely 'Best Friends' stamp from Cuddly Buddly, coloured with the usual Promarkers and layered onto DCWV card, the papers are Cuddly Buddly downloads. As you can see i have made a little tag to go inside the card, the other pocket could hold a gift card.The brad and ribbon are also available from the CB shop. I do like this image best of all and the papers are my favourite too :)

Ding Dong Merrily

Here is that cute little mouse again but with a totally different look :) The mouse is a 'Ding Dong Merrily' from Cuddly Buddly, called in with Promarkers. Papers are downloads form CB, snowflakes are die cuts made with cuttle bug dies. The lil bell is an embellishment from CB as are the lil gems. The ovals have been cut with my nestability dies and layered onto DCWV card.
I hope you likey as its an unusual colour to use for Christmas??

Wish Upon a Star

This is another card made with Cuddly Buddly stamp and download paper. It is from the Christmas selection but could be used for many different occasions i think, maybe to wish someone well who hasn't been feeling to good. The with love has been done with Cuttlebug embossing folder, colouring done with Promarkers matted and layered onto DCWV card.

My Best Friend

Here is another card i have made for Cuddly Buddly, he is so cute. This is one of my favourite cards as i love dogs, having two retreviers of my own :) The stamp is called 'Best Friends' and i have coloured him with Promarkers and mounted onto DCWV coloured card stock, i embossed a tag with the Swiss dots folder. Papers , brad, gems and ribbon are all from the Cuddly Buddly shop.

Julie Blog Candy

Julies is celebrating her first year as a blogger and has some great candy for a prize, so pop along and take a look there are some lovely cards on Julies blog

Star Of Wonder

I love this cute little mouse form Cuddly Buddly, he has been coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto DCWV card stock and CB download papers 'Immanuel'. The ribbon , brads and jewels are all available at CB at a very good price. The snowflakes are die cuts from Cuttlebug die. Hope to join in with some of the challenges next week as almost finished my CB cards now, must say i have had so much fun playing with these lovely stamps and downloads, thanks Kim :)

Jingle Bells

Yep another Cuddly Buddly card!!! Are you fed up with them yet?? This one is a little cute hedgehog called 'Jingle bells', the papers are downloads for CB called 'Immanuel', these really do print out very well. The hedgehog has been coloured with Pro markers as usual with some glitter added to the bells. The ribbon, brads and card are all available at Cuddly Buddly, do pop along and have a peek, P&P is very cheap and service is brilliant.

Santas Orders

Here is another card i have made for the Cuddly Buddly Gallery, it kind of tells a story this one!!
Santa has gathered the reindeer's to give them their orders for Christmas eve, he is letting them know who is on the list. The stamps are as always all from Cuddly Buddly, Santa's List & lil deers
i have shadow stamped, greeting stamp stamped and embossed with glittered added. All the colouring has been done with Promarkers and copics, glamour dust added here and there. Paper is CB download and Swiss dots has been used to do a layer off snow at the top and bottom.
Sorry to all those that have seen these before on CB :)

Snow Globe Card

Here is another Christmas card i have made for the Cuddly Buddly gallery, four down and eight more i go lol. I saw the snow globe card in a craft magazine and it gave me the inspiration to make this card, was fairly easy to make. The circles where cut with nesties, the little stand i made with 2 stripes of card and rounded the edges off with round corner punch. The white background is swiss dots CB folder, ribbon, brad and lil charm from Cuddly Buddly as is the lovely sweet lil Deer and greeting stamp isn't he sooo cute?? I think this one is 'Prancer'. The background paper is a CB download 'Let It Snow papers', which are really good value for money.

Have A Perfect Day

Well i am back from my holidays, i had a lovely time and the weather was lovely. I was so cold yesterday when we arrived back in the UK, boy has the weather changed within a week!!

I made this card for a Birthday card swap we do over on the cuddly Buddly forum. I had my Birthday whilst on holiday and received 20 plus cards, its a wonderful way of sharing ideas and great for inspiration. I will have to take some pictures and share them all with you :)

I have used a stamped image from Pink Cat Studio, which i have had for a while from my lovely friend Karen. The image has been coloured with Prisma pencils and some glitter added here and there, papers are from the DCWV range of paper pads, ribbon from Poppicrafts.

Off On My Holiday

Thought you would all like to see where home will be for the next week :) I am off for a weeks holiday in Tenerife tomorrow morning for some lovely sunshine and relaxation. I will catch up with you all when i return in just over a weeks time. Bye, bye xxxx

Forever Friends

I made this card for Donna one of my lovely ' forever friends' i have made on the Cuddly Buddly forum, it was to thank her for the lovely stamps she sent me and a book to read on my holidays :) Thank you Donna. The stamp was from Docrafts and is from the 'Forever Friends range of stamps. I was so impressed with them i went back and bought another two lol. I have coloured the bear with Promarkers and have cuttle bugged the top half of the card and added some paper from my stash to the bottom. The flower is Prima and the leaf cut from Quickutz die, lil buttons i bought at the NEC way back in March.

I also made a little wallet to put a little something in for Donna, its something she loves very much!! Answers on a postcard please lol. The wallet was made with two pieces of A5 card and scored either side 3 times to create a fold, the same with the bottom. I then added the other piece of card to create the back and the top, i have cut the border out with my friskars border punch, added some paper and ribbon. The flower was from WH Smiths and the 'Thanks' from a scrapbook set i have, ribbon from Poppicrafts.

Lets Dine Out

I have used Tilda from the 'Summer Magnolia' stamp club, coloured in with Promarkers my favourite at the moment as they are so easy and quick to use. I have used DCVW card stock and papers from the Laura Ashley paper collection. Now i am not usually in to green, but am quite happy with this one. The flowers are Prima and leaves are cut from a quickutz die, little buttons from my stash. Now the layout is one of my own, i cut all the pieces out and moved them around and around my paper before i decided where to glue them down lol. I hope you likey???

Santa's List

Ho Ho Ho 'Merry Christmas'. This is a stamp from Cuddly Buddly called 'Santa's list', he is checking who has been naughty or nice, i can see my name on the nice list :) So lots of stamps for me please Santa :) Oh and some nesties!! Can you see your name on Santa's list??? If so what will he be bringing you???
I have coloured Santa with Promarkers and added some glamour dust here and there, he has been mounted on some lovely Christmas downloads from CB called 'Winter warmers'.

Robbie the Elf

Yep have used some more Cuddly Buddly stamps to make this card, Robbie the Elf is pushing the train.This has been coloured with Promarkers and i have used the winter warmers paper downloads again, with some little gems and some die cut snow flakes.

Spoon full Of Sugar Challenge 16#

I have been so wrapped up with making CB cards that have neglected the challenges i little bit lately, so when i saw this sketch by Nikki on 'A spoon full of sugar' challenge i thought i must have a go at that. I have used papers from my Laura Ashley pack, i then used one of my precious

Hangler stamped images given to me by Gail. I do hope its not to long before i can get my hands on some of these lovely stamps. The flowers are prima's and spotty ribbon is from Poppicrafts.

Santa's List

I decided i would have a go at a 'criss cross' card with this stamp and considering its the first time i have made one i found it fairly easy. The stamp is another Cuddly Buddly one called 'Santa's list', i coloured him with promarkers and added a little bit of glamour dust here and there. The papers are also CB downloads from 'Winter warmers' set, embellishment is also from CB shop. I haven't got one of those lovely tab punches from stampin up! so cut and circle and embossed it to make my tab top. The oval and scallop was cut with nestabilities dies and the white oval was embossed with 'Swiss dots' folder. I think i will use this fold if card again :)

Its a Girl

This card was quick and easy to make and great for one of those last minute cards. I have used the pram from the cuddly buddly Christmas stamps, so a stamp isn't just for Chistmas lol. The image has been coloured with promarkers and mounted on to ovals that i have cut with nestabilities. The papers are downloads from Cuddly Buddly Kwackerz set pink, the lace is also form the CB shop and is brilliant value for money, its a roll of paper in all different designs. The 'made with love' is a little charm that i have stuck on to the bow, also from CB.

Emmy Pushing Pram

Well this is a different look to 'Emmy' ,this time she is in pastel colours and i have added the pram. The Cuddly Buddly stamps are so versatile and you can get different looks by changing the colours and the papers. The papers are 'Let it snow papers' downloads from Cuddly Buddly, they have them in different colours. I have coloured with promarkers and added some snowflakes from the cuttlebug die and embossed with cuttlebug Swiss dots folder. The fold is a different one from me, i liked it so much after seeing Edna's card i thought i would give it a go (Thanks Edna :)) Its basically a card folded back on itself and a topper added at the half way point, and it leans forward onto the base card (Hope that makes sense??)

Emmy Elf

I hope your not fed up with these cute lil images yet ?? This is my favourite as i love the rich colours used, the red really stands out. The image is 'Emmy Elf' from Cuddly Buddly, she has been coloured with promarkers and layered onto 'Winter Warmer' papers from CB. The flowers used are prima essentials, embossing done with Cuttlebug swirl folder, snowflakes also dies from Cuttlebug.

Its Time for tea again!

This stamp is from the Cuddly Buddly Christmas collection! Yes I did say Christmas. I wanted to show that the stamps can be used for other occasion not just Christmas. I have coloured in with promarkers , using pastel colours this time. You can see i have used that lovely paper lace again, i has such a delicate lacy effect. The little charm is also from the CB shop as are the little gem stones that are sticky backed. The paper is download peppy papers Cornflower/peach, they are pretty floral designs and so colourful.

Its a Boy

A baby card made with Cuddly Buddly stamp 'Toy train' which is part of the Santa's workshop set. The gingham paper is also a download from CB its from the 'Little Kwackerz' paper . I just love this paper lace border it comes in a pack of 4 different designs and is sticky backed, so just cut and stick ideal. The greeting is computer generated and the lil heart is also from Cuddly Buddly, so get yourself along to the shop and take a look :) Oh train was coloured with promarkers.

Time For Tea

This is one of the cards i have created for the Cuddlybuddly site, i think she looks like mummy Christmas !!but she is called 'Time for Tea' i love the traditional colours for Christmas red and green. The papers are also CB downloads they are called 'Winter Warm'.I have coloured her in with promarkers and have added a circular acetate frame around her with a scalloped green circle underneath. The snowflakes and stars are cut from my cuttlebug die and a little gem added in the middle.

Exploding Box

This is the first time i have ever made an exploding box, really enjoyed making it to :) It was for my very dear friend Theresa who was 50 this August, she was so not looking forward to her birthday. I managed to get some photos off her sister Margi (thanks for your help) i am hoping Theresa won't be popping on my blog as she will go mad that i am sharing all these photos of her, lol. I have used a scrap booking set of papers i got from QVC some time ago and still haven't used!! I hope you likey??

CCT 'Make It Bright'

Must be on a roll that's two cards in as many days lol. The image is a whippersnapper stamp coloured in with promarkers. I have made this card for CCT challenge which was to make a bright card, think this may be bright enough!! I have used my cricut to cut the square and the flourish. The paper is DCWV the brightest colour i could find, think it goes ok with the blue? I then added a little bit of grosgrain ribbon and some peel of crystal dots around the frame.
