Pretty In Lilac

Here is another one of the lovely Sugar Nellie stamps I have coloured in with Copics and Prisma pencils, this little beauty is called 'Joy' and what a joy she was to colour. I think i need to experiment more with hair colours as so far I have only used browns lol.. any suggestions for blonde hair?? I have some promarkers i could use as well.
I faffed about with the flowers still think its in need of something else, i did add some leaves punched with MS frond punch but they didn't look right think it needed something bigger.
I can't believe the weekend is over already, it goes to blinking quickly that's for sure. Oh well the last day of January the start of a new month tomorrow, will soon be spring lol...

Sugar Bowl Challenge ~ 52

This is the first time I have taken part in the 'Sugar Bowl' Challenge and have to say I loved the sketch this week, so thank you for the inspiration. This little beauty was a pleasure to colour , having the shading in place really helped. I have coloured 'Grace' in with Copics and prisma pencils for the shading. Its not often I say I like a card that I have made, but have to say I likey this one so really pleased with myself.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, even though the cold weather has returned with a vengeance. I have no really plans this weekend, except to stay in and take part in a few more challenges.

Dandelion Clock Fairy

Here is another one of my quick stick and go cards that I made for my box at work with LOTV squares. I cut her out with my Nestabilities then punched a little border with my much neglected Fiskars punch then snipped it and stuck around the image to give a nice lacey effect. I have since stuck a greeting on this card, so it doesn't look so bare, oh and added some glitter to her wings.

Gosh hasn't the weather turns blinking cold again just when we thought it had gone away the snow is back in some places. Thank goodness it pay day tomorrow, I think a spot of retail therapy is required lol....

A Good Friend

This is Toby Tumble 'Happy Easter' 3D decoupage download from Cuddly Buddly.
There are a few sentiments with this sheet so you don't have to use it just as an Easter card.
You don't even have to do it as a decoupage card, you can edit the sheet in your graphics programme and just print off the topper and sentiment, great for a nice quick card.

I have been in the wars this week :( Whilst brushing Brad (My dog) on Monday he lifted his head a little to quickly and caught me on the corner of my eye, well the air was blue I can tell you and so now is my eye lol...
I look like I have been in a fight, goodness know what the customers in work must think! N o more dog grooming duties for me, will leave that to Neil.

Friendship

This cute Toby Tumble image is called 'Friendship' I think it would make a wonderful 'Thinking Of You Card'
as they are sharing a quiet moment together on their swing in the meadow. This was quite a challenge to colour as there is a lot more scenery than other stamps I have used, coloured with Prisma and Copics.

I am busy working on some new Toby Tumble designs for Cuddly Buddly which will be released real soon.
I have to say they are so cute, so watch this space :)

It was back to work for me yesterday, I so missed not being able to get any crafting done, just hope my mojo doesn't sulk and run away.

I am entering this card into the Totally Gorjuss Challenge which is 'Cuddly'

Fairy Wings

This was a very quick card I made with my LOTV Cute squares, have made lots of these over the last week as the girls in work have been asking me to bring my box of cards in, hopefully I will sell a few.

I call these type of cards 'stick and go cards' lol... I always feel that its not really hand crafted if there is no colouring involved, is that just me? Or do others feel this way.

I'm entering this card into the LOTV Challenge which is 'Things With Wings'

Sweet baby

This beautiful sweet stamp is a digi stamp from Cuddly Buddly its Toby Tumble 'Sweet Baby'.
I can see me using this image for Christenings and new baby cards, its just perfect. I have coloured the image with the usual Copics and Prisma Pencils, adding some glamour dust to the frills.

The frame is a Marianne double frame die, it really is a fabby die and I have only used one part of it so far, love the lacy detail. The white mat has been made with the MS Cherish punch around the page this is another punch i can see me using often

Special Friends

I have been a bad blogger the last few months mainly due to being busy with work and Christmas. I am off next week so plan on having some ME time making some cards. I have a few more Toby Tumble digi's to work with so don't forget to pop back if you get chance.

This is a card I made before Christmas with a 3D download from Cuddly Buddly called 'Special Friends' and that's what Tabitha is to Toby. I'm hoping we will be seeing a lot more of Toby's friends this year, especially Tabitha as I think she is very cute.
