Less Is More ~ Three Squares

I have had another little go at the 'Less Is More' Challenge this week which is 'Three Squares', although I still find it very tricky doesn't come naturally I can tell you lol..
This card was made with my new SU! stash that I treated myself to recently after seeing all the lovely cards made with this set called 'Bliss'. Sadly its no longer available to order.
I cut the little squares out with the corner punch then stamped the little butterflies into them, was easy peesy with the unmounted stamps as could line them up real easy.

Tools ~ SU! Corner Scallop trim punch & Border Scallop Punch

Waterside Fun

This is the first time i have tried to make a stepper card and although the first one went in the bin I have to say I'm fairly pleased with this one. The little cat and bunny and ducks have been cut out and added to a little bit of card and attached so they stand out, a little like a pop out card.

The lovely cute images are designed by Eline Pellinkhoff and are available to down load at Cuddly Buddly for a fantastic price of £1.55 and for that you get 4 designer papers as well as  lots of cutes images. There are another two sets also available called 'Friends' and 'Spring time'.

This is for my friends grandsons 1st Birthday in May, yep getting myself well organised lol..My lovely friend Linda suggested making a bunting to put on the card, it looks like the little ducks are holding it.

I'm entering my card into Papertake weekly which this week is 'Anything Goes'.

Wee Stamp Digi

Birds On A Swing

These lovely sweet love birds are now available at Cuddly Buddly  they are from Wee Stamps and are designed by Sylvia Zet.

I have coloured my birdies in with Copic and Prisma pencils, adding some glossy accents to the flowers to make them stand out. The lovely designer papers are from Cuddly Buddly from the Cottage collection, in Duck Egg Blue. I have to admit I quite like this colour combo although not one I would of thought myself.
The lovely BIG bow was made with my Bow Easy with VERY wide ribbon.

I have been missing in Blogland as wasn't very well last weekend, had a terrible tummy bug which knocked me for six, thankfully feel a little better now :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend x

For you with Love

I made this card last week for Valentines day but forgot to post them, dippy person that I am! Thought I would still share it with you anyway, mat be I can change the greeting to Congratulations on  your engagement lol.... I do love the LOTV toppers for a nice easy card. This one I have used Pink Petticoat papers with and brown card stock , although it looks black on the photo.

I haven't made any cards so far this weekend, but plan on taking part in a few challenges tomorrow so watch this space. I hope the weather starts to warm up soon as its been a little chilly lately but at least the nights are getting lighter which is a real plus.

Less Is More

Well this is a first for me as don't do Clean and simple cards, always use DP papers on my cards so am a little out of my depth here lol... so please be gentle with me if leaving a comment as I'm not sure about this one it lacking in something may be a little bow where the flowers stems cross over?

The rules where OLC One Layer Card
One piece of card folded in half with no additional layers and minimal embellishments, where the image is stamped directly onto the cardstock.

I have enjoyed looking at all the cards made by everyone else and found this wonderful website 'Paper Garden' where I downloaded this image for FREE, will be back to purchase more if I can get to grips with Less Is More cards, must admit they are a lot quicker to make.

Best Fishes

Good morning the sun is shining here this morning but boy was it cold last night. I wish the weather would make its mind up what its doing, the poor bulbs in the garden will be getting well confused lol..

Here is one of those dreaded male cards that we all dislike making, I do cringe when people ask for a card for the men in their lives lol..

This is 'Best Fishes' From Cuddly Buddly he is available as in 3D, digi or rubber, coloured with Copics and prisma pencils. The fishes have had some glossy accents added to make them look all slippy and slimy lol....

Tools ~ Nestabilities oval, Quickutz stars, SU Border eyelet punch.

In The Pink

Good morning Bloggers its been a while since i have posted anything I have to admit I'm not feeling very crafty lately :( I received my new Marianne branch die from Cuddly Buddly and was itching to use it. I already had Bea coloured up so only had to print off some papers and trow them together on a card and voila card almost made. I'm not sure about the dragonfly on it now think it makes it look a little tacky lol..

Bea has been coloured with Copics and prisma pencils, some glossy accents added to her wellington boots to give that wet look lol.. think my wellies will be very wet and muddy after I have walked the dogs today as not a very nice day here today.

I am entering my card into the Teddy Bo Challenge which is 'In The Pink'

Pretty In Lilac

Here is another one of the lovely Sugar Nellie stamps I have coloured in with Copics and Prisma pencils, this little beauty is called 'Joy' and what a joy she was to colour. I think i need to experiment more with hair colours as so far I have only used browns lol.. any suggestions for blonde hair?? I have some promarkers i could use as well.
I faffed about with the flowers still think its in need of something else, i did add some leaves punched with MS frond punch but they didn't look right think it needed something bigger.
I can't believe the weekend is over already, it goes to blinking quickly that's for sure. Oh well the last day of January the start of a new month tomorrow, will soon be spring lol...

This is the first time I have taken part in the 'Sugar Bowl' Challenge and have to say I loved the sketch this week, so thank you for the inspiration. This little beauty was a pleasure to colour , having the shading in place really helped. I have coloured 'Grace' in with Copics and prisma pencils for the shading. Its not often I say I like a card that I have made, but have to say I likey this one so really pleased with myself.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, even though the cold weather has returned with a vengeance. I have no really plans this weekend, except to stay in and take part in a few more challenges.

Dandelion Clock Fairy

Here is another one of my quick stick and go cards that I made for my box at work with LOTV squares. I cut her out with my Nestabilities then punched a little border with my much neglected Fiskars punch then snipped it and stuck around the image to give a nice lacey effect. I have since stuck a greeting on this card, so it doesn't look so bare, oh and added some glitter to her wings.

Gosh hasn't the weather turns blinking cold again just when we thought it had gone away the snow is back in some places. Thank goodness it pay day tomorrow, I think a spot of retail therapy is required lol....
